| This should have placed higher. There are quite a few shots that this easily passes. Sometimes I don't understand the outcome of these challenges. :-/ |

| This is beautiful. The sharpness and DOF are perfect. I love the way the light is coming in from above and from the left, illuminating the baby's face (great catchlights!) I have one tiny nitpick with the crop. For some reason, my eye is drawn to the nipple along the right hand side. Maybe I'm just wierd :) A 10! |

| what an incredible capture. that look says it all. i really hope this gets the attention it deserves, and that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of this huge challenge. just look at those catchlights. wow... great work. as i have nothing further to offer, i'm just going to sit back and enjoy it for a moment, if you don't mind. good luck in the challenge! |

| Beautiful tender ape portrait. Not my favourite of the challenge, but I guarentee it will fill that role for many. You can't help but fall for those eyes. It doesn't get any cuter. |

| As it is, this is a good photo, if it was a little sharper, it would be great. Not that keen on the title, but that's personal taste. |

| Just magical! Only nits to pick are the slight lack of sharpness around the eyes and that nipple that's barely in the frame on the right (I'd have cloned it out). Otherwise a fantastic photo - 8 |

| wonderful shot - real shame it's so blurry, but sure that couldn't be helped for whatever reason. My pic for 1st if sharp - as is still very good though :D 8 as it is. |

| Love the lighting and composition. Would have liked to seen a larger apeture to help bring the entire image into focus, as I think the mother's hands help with impact of the image. A good capture of our cousins. |
