Wow! I have mixed emotions though. As cool as this first appears, I'm very turned off by the amount of flash created by the star filter. I think that this is a quality subject and a great idea, but the exposure is probably a bit too long and the noise from the filter is excessive. Good shot, but not a great one.

good job. nice photo.

Pretty starry lights. Looks like your lens is wet. (may have added to the star effect, but less detailed). I like the reflection on the river, very nice. 6 Swash

the star effect is too strong

lots of reflective lighting here, methinks perhaps just a tad too much? too bright for a night shot? it burns out the bridge on the left side so you can't see it properly, but nice shot. . .

You daughter is very wise: children can be so preceptive. Love the diamond necklace effect.

As a thumbnail it looks like the bridge is engulfed in flames, kinda cool

A fun and lovely abstract type shot. I like it.

Great use of the river for reflective effect. One thing I would have experimented with would be a closer view of the bridge from one side of the river so that the bridge fills the frame a bit more. I find the lights a little overpowering, they take a little away from what you were trying to achieve with the bridge. I like the star effect in the lights though. Good work!

I like the color scheme here very much, even if you had to over expose to get the lights so vivid. Did you use a star filter here? Also, the green of the right side of the bridge really goes well with the other colors in the picture. Just to balance out the picture, since you don' t have alot going on in the top half, I would have moved the horizon line up midway.

As you are taking a picture of the bridge AND its reflection, wouldnt it be better to have the bridge/reflection central, rather than just the bridge?

Your daughter was rigth! The focus is just a tiny bit weak, but this is a fun picture to look at - very nice.

Unfortunately the light is hiding the subject. I don't know if you used a starburst filter, but if there could have been a way of reducing the glare from the lights it would look better.

I think this could have been a really nice photo but I think there are way too many lights and maybe you should have used a smaller aperture if possible to reduce the flair on the lights. Maybe you should have tried this at a different time of day or tried it just at sun set when the sky would have been a bit brighter and the lights wouldn't have stood out as much. Good luck with the challenge!

good idea, but the light overshadows the bridge and you can barely see it...

Not crazy about the title...

Wonderful light captured here! Did you use a starburst filter? I see more lights than bridge here, and I think you could have captured both the cool lighting with the interesting reflection on the water as well as the intricacy of the bridge itself. Still, I like this shot!

Very interesting!
