 The Smith College Greenhouses are known for their spring bulb show. The eruption of color and scent is a treat late in winter. But there is more, even during the bulb show. This curled fern was blissfully unaware of the heavy traffic and noise at the bulb show. Here in the tropical room wanderers were fewer and time for photography more congenial. I can't remember the name of this tightly wound character, but I'll go back late this winter and find out.

Nice subject matter and composition. When you get a chance, try taking the brightness down a litle and adding a touch of contrast. BTDT. Nice shot.

aren't these things amazing? i hope this isn't getting overlooked in this super-sized challenge, and that you are getting good feedback. i love the background that you've captured, but i also feel that you have cropped it a bit too tight on the top, and not enough on the right. but hey, that's just my opinion. you have a nice image here, and i thank you for sharing. good luck with this, and all the challenges yet to come!

Nice dof and not a bad subject, could probably (in my opinion) use a bit of a bump in saturation and/or contrast to make it stand out a little more.
