This really did turn out beautifully -- the reflections in the fork add so much to it.

It is. But more than "parody" I intended it as "homage".

I made the picture for the challenge (forget the name) where we were supposed to make a picture like some other entry here to DPC. I entered a different picture.

BTW, this is a parody of the image "Fantasia" by Gordon:

This should have finished in the top 10. I think I only voted 2 10's and this was one of them. I would like to see the details listed though.

Love the surreal spin on the famous original. What makes this one special I feel is the dance of light on the fork, just perfect. 10

Very nicely captured image, without over doing the sharpening and saturation. Still hard to believe it is a photograph in as many times as I've seen it (or varioations of it). ((8))

had this not been a copycat piece I would ave gone with a 10. While not origal I must admit it apears to be an even tougher shot. I can imagine it was tough to get the light just right. Still a great shot and well deserving of a high score.

so...did you do it in camera, like gordon, or did you do it in ps...
i'm just kidding. this is a great image, and i like it. hope you don't get killed by all the anti-ps crowd. as i can't offer anything else, i'll just sit and enjoy this a bit. good luck with the challenge!

Just like Gordon's Fantasia, but very well executed nonetheless. Nice work. -9-

Edit: Ursula! I just saw you won with this on Better Photo. I went to see my friend's (Francis') winning landscape and found your "I'm Hungry" next to it. I love this and hope to see you do well in this challenge!

Great spoof. Wish you entered it into the deja - vu challenge. You would have doubtlessly ribboned there. As it is you get a ten from me for making me smile, well that and your sheer technical skill.
