 This pocket compass came down to me from my mom's side of the family - from my great-great-uncle. I don't know for sure, but I think it's Army issue because it has U.S. engraved on the lid, so it's possible it's from WWII? I placed it on a semi-old National Geographic map of Europe, on top of a little cardboard tube to make it look like it's floating above it & used the smallest aperature I could to get a little blur on the map, cause I thought all the wording was distracting. I set my white balance to "cloudy" for the sepia effect.
In PS, I did some desaturation, adjusted levels & some USM.

I pretty pleased with this - I hope it scores in 6's!
