| How did I miss this one when browsing through the bridges challenge results? Wow. I like all the different layers of the bridge and then the building and the castle. The tonal range is fantastic and the river is used beautifully as negative space. I'm adding this to my favorites :) |

Stunning... the dark forebodding look of this image is perfect for this scene.
Great composition. It is as if the bridge seems like a foundation supporting the town, but is not overpowered by it.
A good photograph evokes a feeling. This one is a fantasy looking like Transyvannia and Dracula's Castle. |

| I expect you've been told that this is very dark - don't listen to them! great contrast, and one of the few b&w shots that doesn't look like a deperate attempt to be arty. One small criticism: the brightness of that white building just across the bridge, and the fact that it's placed on the strong vertical makes that the real subject of the picture: my eye is always drawn from the bridge or the church to it. |

| This is truly an unbelievable shot...I love it! The lighting is terrific and there is so much to look at. The only thing I may have done differently is crop some of the foreground water out...but it's still an outstanding photograph...10...and I hope it wins. |

| Very cool! Possible winner here! Sharp as a tack! Very nice contrasts. The closest thing to a nit is the grain in the sky, but honestly, that could be passed off as clouds. Score upgrade from 9 to 10! Swash |
