Greatings from the CC!

Oooooooo one of my top of the week! Well, my comment given to you during voting gives you some idea.....

Of course it meets the challenge.

The composition using B&W adds focus to the leading line. Cropping a leading line in the center of the photo usually doesn't work as well as cropping in to the side but the perfect symety here makes it work wonderfully.

Not much more to say here. A fantastic shot!

I really love this photo. Awesome lighting, and the black and white looks GREAT!

Nice shot, but doesnt meet the challenge for me.

Simple yet effective! In my top 10 of the week! Your cropping is spo on. The lightness of the walkway contrasts well with the dark brush around it and keeps your focus on the path. 8

Interesting idea...I think it would work better for this topic if the path ended more in the middle of the shot. This format draws your eye into and through and out of your shot instead of leading your eye into a subject. I like the black and white but think it would be better with more contrast.

Nice shot, fits the challenge.

I am getting to be a sucker for the b&w outdoor shots. Would like to see a bit more detail in the wood. The lighting seems to have washed it out just a bit. Nice composition

since the leading line is also the main feature in this composition, It would have benefited from a wider range of tones on it. good use of negative space.

Good image. Composition is good and the toanl range is good - maybe a little darker in the center foliage. The line takes me into a mysterious place. Good job. (By the way, where is this? Any chance it is at the Heard Museum in Texas? There is a path like this and I saw someone there on Sunday who was taking many shots about Lines.)

Good choice for the challenge. It is a bit washed out, need some more contrast.

Ha! I remember this walkway; it features in one of my favourite images here!

But where is the subject in this image? Hmmmm. 5 Jak

No Aerosmith band at the end of the walkway. :)

Shaggy looking area. Good challenge photo. I like strong bright light on walkway.

A nice try personally I would have liked to have seen something or somebody perhaps showing some color to make an impact at the bottom end

this is a good photo of a line, but it doesn't lead to a subject of a point of interest... in this photo, the line is the subject rather than being supportive of the subject... - setzler
