 I took this photo while snowmobiling in the mountains near Tok, AK. In the summer time, the entire area between the camera lens and the mountain is a larger river fed lake. In the winter - just a thin river carves it's way across the icy landscape.

Note: In the print version, I rotated the shot a little to level the horizon.

this is a nice photo and the water does lead your eye through the photo ... i think the image in a whole could use a little more contrast

I see the leading lines are leading my eyes to the mountains. Very nice. I like the grey tones. Very pretty picture. Good luck.

Nice capture, would convey a much better sense of open space without this mean border that traps you in the frame.

I like the bend in the river balanced with the tree in the middle and on the slope. But I kept following the lines and did not reach a conclusion. Still very nice.

I like this shot and how the lines lead you through the photo. Good depth shown, as well as nice use of duotone. The shot seems as clear as one can get with this much distance involved. Sure looks chilly! 9

Whooops, was going to give a 7, but noticed the leveling of the pic is WAY off and the white of the snow is terrible. Still get a 6 however.
