Composition - Firstly, this was one of my favorites of the challenge. Well conceived and executed very effectively. The lighting is super. The large crack with the glowing light sells this image. The colors are phenomenal. The contrast between the egg and the black background really makes it stand out. This is an exceptional image.
Technical - This image is exposed perfectly. The framing is good for this type of shot. The image is crisp and clear as it should be. Very well done.
Overall - You got ripped off on this challenge and I'll be the first in line to tell you that. This is one of the best images in the challenge in my opinion, hands down. Thanks for sharing it with us. This isn't much of a critique, but more of a pat on the back. I really can't find anything I don't like or even alternatives. Great shot. Keep taking them! - Bob |

| I took a lot of glowing egg shots, too, but I didn't think to crack the shell! Well, you did and it makes all the difference! Stunning light, and you still managed to keep it in focus and pretty sharp. I like the mood it evokes. 10 |

| I like this idea and it's an interesting picture but the pink at the bottom is distracting and seems unintended. |
