Interesting shot, but nothing to make it stand out from the crowd of pumkin shots - is it big? maybe womething to show how big? The color seems washed out or over exposed. Perhaps that could be fixed with some post processing? |

Simple and classical, but I don't feel much creativity in it. The composition is not bad, though, I would have cropped a bit on the top and right side to follow the rule of thirds. I like the sharpness of the main subject. |

Nice work. Vibrant colors and engaging point of view. It might help to have moved the camera to the left just an inch or so so that it would be more balanced, but still a lovely photo. 7 |

I think this would make for a nice calender shot but not something I would have on a wall. Excellent color and clarity and well centered. Good job and keep up the good work in 2005. |

I'm a sucker for pumpkin, cat, and lips pictures, but I must say this is the best Pumpkin of the year! FANTASTIC! 10! |

Like the fact that your zoomed in and cropped the image as you did. Would have liked a little tweaking to bring out the colour of the pumpkin. In for some tough competition. Good luck. |

A good example of how to make your subject interesting by the use of strong composition and contrasting colour.
Nice work |

Sort of uninteresting to me. The pumpking is also more red than it is orange...on my monitor anyway. |

Deceptively lovely image. Compsitionally flawless, may lack the wow factor for others but I place it right at the top. I'm a sucker for the well-seen detail. |

Great perspective on this one. Might have worked better detached from the vine - but I really like the texture to this image. 8. |
