What a magnificent, timeless image--love the depth of field, the subtle framing and detail in the shadows. Grows on me more every time I see it. |

Hmm .. I have some shots from a similar perspective taken last Summer -- I'll have to look at them again. This has a nicer background, although it would be nice to replace the minivan with a Model-T. |

I can't decide if I like the posterizing effect in the background, but I understand why you did it. It's well done, subtle. 8 |

Well composed image. Interested to see what post shot editing you did or if the background is actually a painted wall as that is the way it comes across to my amatuer eye. I Like it nonetheless.

I absolutely love the lighting in this picture. The person sitting down also makes a point of origin to look at, which i think you need in a photograph. Job well done. |

Interesting how many of the lines in this photo lead to the person on the bench:
- line from the roof along the wall
- shadow/sun border on the floor
- the bench in the foreground
Shame the person is in such a deep shadow. He seems deep asleep as well. :)
A train it the distance might make it a bit stronger, but I like the setup of the composition, just not how the light falls. |

Terrific composition. Beautiful light, contrast & great intrigue in the waiting figure. I just can't make my mind up about the processing. It nearly works, I think. Maybe it was an 8 once, but now I think 7. |

Nice photo. I like the soft colors in the distance contrasted against the darkness of the figure. It tells the storey nicely. I would have given higher marks if you could see more of the outline of the shadowy figure. 7 |

VEry nice this photo, its a great candid photo.
The buildings on the left side seem to be a little strange, seems like the post process just didn't seem to be very great. But maybe thats just me.
Everything else seems great. |

Great classical beauty this pic. Long after we're gone the glory of this pic would still shine it's rays of glory on this world. A real winner in my book. Well done. |

I really like the background of this image - ery painterly, the foreground is perhaps a little too dark, but a good effort nonetheless. 6. |
