For some reason, I find this photo disturbing. LOL. I know it is a flower, but so stange at the close-up! During voting I gave it a 6 because I thought that you did a remarkable job with the bokeh. Good choice of subject. The red lines in the out-of focus area really accent the focused area. Also, nice use of thirds. :) |

The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." To me this fits the definition only very loosely. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Yes. Pretty flower. I like the composition. |
