interesting composition. i like the subdued bokeh (as opposed to some of the seriously-in-your-face bokeh). however, the reed with the droplet is too soft and blown out, which really undermine the image. if that reed could have stood out without the blowouts, the image would have had a much stronger impact. good luck!

I really love this as an abstract. The strong light and shadow, especially with the focal point on the water droplet, the strong diagonal lines and the randomly positioned light circles create a composition that seems to resonate far more strongly with me than I entirely understand. One of my top 11 in the challenge.

It has bokeh, but it seems haphazardly cropped and focused. strikingly minimalist.

The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." Present. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Yes. A very nice image, though on my monitor (recently calibrated) there is some artifacting on the left side where it goes to a darker gray. Also, the patterns in your points of light are somewhat distracting, but that's not your fault ;)
