 A gerbera daisy on my back balcony that I've been trying to kill for better than a year now. Despite my clumsy efforts at "caring" for it, it still manages to regularly sprout new growth. This was taken while it was sprinkling, the background is a tree beyond my balcony.

This was shot with the 70-210mm D lens at 70mm.

Cropped this small part of the photo, auto contrast, upped the saturation in reds, magentas and greens, blurred a couple of the harsher looking bokeh spots and dodged the lighter ones to bring them out, USM.

this is a beautiful image, and one of my favorites in the challenge. excellent bokeh. this image has the feeling of three kids, looking out the door, in anticipation of being told it's ok to go on outside to play. well done!

Fascinating bokeh. Composition feels too cramped lower right to me. Give it a hair more breathing space on the right, especially, is my opinion.
