So that's what Oslo looks like. It must be quite hilly. Must be a beautiful place.

from the critique club:
Allow me to comment on this image outside the constrains of the challenge directions. You have received enough flak. I do it too, that is offer my interpretation knowing in many cases that it will come back to haunt me. A more prominent singular Waldo would have netted you a much higher finish because the quality of the image is above average.

What gives this image its magic is the lilac-lavender ethereal sky versus the super mundane foreground and losing all visibility as it sinks in the first zone. Then this winding road that leads the eyes to the houses. Here a special feeling is invoked due to the cozy like houses as if the viewer lived here or wish to. The lavender is reflected at the upper part of the road and this just adds ambience.

The composition is at its strongest point because you even have branches partly covering the lower road. It is indeed a very good capture and beyond technical and artistic questions. It is a home runof an image.

This is one of those images which I can not improve upon and it must be a beautiful sight to see printed. Make sure that you adhere to challenge descriptions. I will take this advise too.lol

Magical passage. Great image with good color transition and what a mood setter. Bumping up.

Not a bad shot. It reminds me of Astoria, Oregon--or any Oregon coast town, for that matter.

I was seriously going to title my Where's Waldo shot. I also have two people in mine and am getting knocked down a bit for it.

Lovely shot, excellent composition, like the magenta tones.

There is just something about this pic that makes me keep looking back at it. Great view & time of day.

A very nice scene, but I'm sorry, you lose a point because the challenge specifically stated that there be only one person. 7

this challenge is worded to mean there should to be only one person in the image, but i clearly see two - so, i am just leaving this comment and not scoring your picture... it's not a bad picture, but it doesn't belong in the challenge, and i feel that it would be unfair to other participants to score it...

This is good composition, but the people are not exactly hidden. They are small, but I see them as soon as I open the image.

"hide A person in your otherwise PERSON-LESS photo" Which one is Waldo?
