Bokeh is almost overwhelming! If it were possible to tone down the droplets, I think it would have helped a bit. |

yes, you have acheived technical bokeh, but, unfortunately, you have not put it to good use... here, the background is more of the subject than the leaf, and that's too bad. this is one image where you really could have taken advantage of advanced editing rules. if you had boosted the saturization on the leaf itself and cropped off the right 2/3s of the image, you would have had something to capture attention and entertain the eyes...as is, my eyes wander, searching for a subject. good luck! |

The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." Check. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Check. Very pretty. This looks almost surreal. I have to say however, that the pattern visible in many of your circles is distracting. That's not your fault of course ;) |
