 Used a Nikon D70, tripod, Sigma 17-35mm zoom at 19mm, Nikon SB-600 flash at -2 EV flash compensation and the 10 second self timer. Overcast, dreary day. I shot a tight wide angle shot to fill the frame and emphasize the bird's size. Converted to mono in Photoshop using the channel mixer and resized/cropped. I'm the Waldo model, with a nice round head to match the round bird toes. The sculpture was by Fernando Botero and is located in Singapore.

A cool picture, I like the perspective. But your person looks strange! Somehow the face is flat, as if it were a cutout or something. 7.

the background sucks. if you could have used a shallower depth of field and caused it to blur, you;d have gotten a few more points from me.
