My first entry, I'm not all that happy with it, but I wanted to get started in on entering challenges even if I'm not happy with the entry, hopefully I'll get a few comments.

I wanted to get a red hatted person in the woods as it felt more waldo-ish, I didn't have anyone out with me, so I was relying on people appearing in the right places. I wasn't very lucky, despite being out there until my batteries ran out, the people just never seemed to be in the right places.

Ended up with this one, let's see how it does.

Thanks for the comments people, I agree that the trees make it look cluttered, I was sort of aiming for that effect, lots of clutter like the proper where's waldo pictures - I wasn't allowed to clutter it with people though.

I also agree with puzzled that's nothing more than okay, and it's not immediately obvious how to improve it - I think just a better subject and a better photographer.

But I'm well chuffed with 89th so thanks!

Waldo is the only object giving any depth to the shot.

This is okay. I wish I had a better comment - there something about it that lacks interest, but I can't point out anything specific about the picture that I think should be improved. Sorry for my lack of good commenting ability :-)

Nice colour. Your person is well hidden, but the picture need more structure. The trees blend with each other and melt with the ground. 5.

All those trees make the photo look so cluttered. But it's not a bad shot. Did you perhaps look at it in black and white?

Rich colours and not too lost I think.

Nice shot of the forest, too bad the challenge requires a person in there, I'd like the image better without.
