Well composed image with all the elements in the right place and good use of splitting the shot with the diagonal. Bumping up to ((8)) |

what a beautiful moment you have captured. i have a seriously love/hate relationship pursuing sunrise photography. it's not automatic, and sometimes i spend so much time working at it that i miss the actual experience! it is really difficult to get an exposure that captures everything, and you've done a good job here. and, i really hate saying this, i think your image would really rock if you cropped out the right 30% (meaning the sun, itself). it is just so overpowering that it really takes away from the overall image. hold your hand up to the screen, and you'll see what i mean. but, that's just my opinion. you have a fine image, and i hope it does well for you here. good luck in this, and the challenges yet to come! |

The human element in this makes it have a good impact. I like the roll of the waves, makes the scene more dynamic. The sun looks a bit strange, but that can happen. 7 |

Nice capture. Very serene. Love the colors and the appearance of the sun and waves with the reflection |

I like the water and the silhouetted people but the sun and it's reflection are blown out. There also seems to be a pink and then yellow halo around the sun. I like the image but would have scored it higher if it wasn't blown out. |

Great sunset, and the dog and owner add some great foreground interest. 8 |

It will be a good picture if the sun does not burn out. |

great use of rule of thirds...the colours are wonderful...It seems that the focus is on the water and the lady and dog are a little off. Still a very nice image. |

Great colours in this sunset - the sun is perhaps a little too blown out, but certainly a nice scene. |
