 This photo was taken on a New Year’s Day Hike in a local park while I and my son were climbing a fallen tree. His mom was supporting him from behind. Some minor touch-up on the faces (blurring, burning, cloning, etc), simple cropping.

Great moody human shot. The shadow bugs me on the left model and the harsh light bugs me on the right model. But the expressions, the angle and the composition are great.

Great entry for this challenge. The upward gaze and close crop highlights the children's enthusiasm and sense of adventure and optimism in a favorite outdoor activity (hiking through the wooded trails). If the other child was looking away from the camera, this image would be even more effective. Overall a nice capture.
