What a great image. I gave this shot a 9 and i'm looking for reasons that it wasn't a 10. Great capture and the selective desat works really well. The childs face is a picture and tells a story. I wonder what he is looking at.

This was shot at 300mm on my Sigma 70-300- I was so glad I had a long lens to shoot with, since I felt really concious taking pictures of strangers without asking, and of course I didn't want to ask and spoil it all! |

| It's sure hard to get a good candid shot, but this is great. The background is nicely out of focus, giving emphasis to the boy. The expression on the boy's face is wonderful. The angle of the umbrella adds so much to the composition. |

| Excellent job. I wouldn't be nearly as impressed if he didn't have the expression that he has on his face. It seems so easy to win people's hearts over with a cute kid.....but honestly, this is exposed and composed very nicely. Love the colors. Keep up the good work. |
