 Cathedral Lake/Peak, Yosemite California. It takes a three mile hike to get here, a magical place.
My daughter and I were bcakpacking and spent a chilly but comfy night here watched the storm, sunset and sunrise.

I Love B&W scenery shots like this.
My suggestions here would be a little USM applied to the lightness channel in Lab Color (50, 0.3, 0), maybe even twice, then burning in the sky a little to bring it out a bit more.

Cropping down to 16:9 might have made the undetailed sky less of a focal point!

Nice landscape shot. perhaps a 1 inch crop off the top of the photo to make it look more panaramic. It would have also taken out the sun or high contrast out of the sky. I find it to distracting. Well done and keep up the good work in 2005.

The choice of B&W was a great one... Seems like everything is really peacful but as the storm approaches it seems that peace is not the best word to discribe it.
