35th.. bah.. deserved much higher of course.

I think you're suffering from "everyone knows gracie" and "enough with the kids already!"

Voters are so fickle. My favorite of the challenge, but mostly because I can resist that face!

Cute! This works well in black and white with all the subtle shading -- a ten!

The thing she (?) is sitting in creates a great frame around the her. Nice moment.

I hope this does well in the voting because it is a wonderful photo. Technically, I love the composition, focus, DOF, levels and the lighting (although the background portholes distract a little. But more than that, I really like the emotion you've captured (mostly in the face and eyes) of playing a game that's FUN! Very well done. Hope it ribbons.

Nice expression on the child's face. Great framing. Great background. Good use of focus and depth of field.

I love this. For some reason, I look at this a a 50's look comes to mind. The black and white conversion is good, just the right contrast. I think it could be just a little sharper in the face. 8

I like the soft focus. Perefctly exposed, and with excellent tonal range. Lovely framing and composition.

Nice shot of the child, but IMHO a good example of bad bokeh... It's kinda disracting. I keep finding my eye drawn to the bright circles in the background.

I see a ribbon. This is a precious and artful photograph. This should grace the walls of your home if the child is yours or be given as a gift the the proud parents. 10

Precious smile on this kid! Pure joy in his eyes. The shapes in the photo are very interesting. I think the smooth curved angles compliment the emmotions that are evoked in the audience when they see this child. Great job!
