I really love this shot, and this is the first time that I have seen it.....
I love the white on white and also the shadows.....
An excellent image here, and I love it so much, that I am adding it to my favoites.....

CRITIQUE CLUB CRITIQUE

COMPOSITION
The composition in this shot is strong. It is cropped and framed in such a way that the eye is drawn from the tip of the branches, past the eggs, and out of the frame on the right. Since nothing is dead center, it is not static, but it does have a place for the eyes to rest (on the eggs), but the picture does give them a path to travel, as well.
TECHNIQUE
Your focus and exposure is awesome here, as is the lighting. It shows the details of the limb, etc, yet uses shadows effectively to add interest to the shot. Also, it gives a definite feeling of depth. Very nice work.
OVERALL EFFECT
Very humorous and well done. I commend the amount of detail that it seems you paid attention to. Indeed, it looks like the eggs have "grown" there and not placed, because manipulation of the snow is not evident. Great work.

| Very good. I would have liked the needles to be greener (seem de-saturated). I probably would have used three eggs for a slightly better composition. |

| Good shot. The title is not great. I would have called it, "two snow birds". The frame doesn't work. It seems best to stay away from colored borders (use neutrals), people either like them hate them. Again the shot is really nice, great focus and lighting. |
