Congrats on an absolute professional quality photograph Chris.
I had this picked to be in the top ten and was a bit taken back that it wasn't. Stunning work. |

you know, it is all i can do to treat this image fairly. out my window is nothing but ice. my kids have been home since last weds afternoon. and this pops up on my screen. it will be hard to filter out the jealousy-quotient from the score! this is a beautiful image, with an incredible range of colors. i hope that it is getting the attention it deserves, and that it is not being overlooked in the huge challenge. i am quite sure that this also looks nice, hanging on your wall. good luck here, and in the challenges yet to come! |

Thats some really cool driftwood and an absolutely stunning bit of ocean. COuld do with out the boats but I can understand that they'd take a fair bit of cloning to remove (a job that would likely be beyond me). |

Good shot, good colours and contrast but I would have loved too see also a wider shot in panorama since I feel almost like the right half is missing from this shot. |

You've chosen a good subject. I think the composition could have been stronger by tweaking a few things, though. I'd like to see more space at the bottom. There's a nice layering of beach, water and sky and giving these an equal distribution would really bring out the contrast of the ordered land, sea and sky with the more chaotic driftwood. The rocks behind distract, as do the boats. It would also have served the subject well to take the photo at a time other than mid-day. Landscape shots always benefit from the light at dawn or dusk. |

Rich colours, looks like it could be a cover of a vacation booklet you pick up at the travel agent. Nice Shot. |

This reminds me of an island on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. You have me wondering where this is... |
