Thamer: Congratulations on your top 20 finish with simplicity itself.

Congrats on 12th place! Judging from the comments, you might have nailed top 5 if that pipe had been just a little more hidden. ;-P

Nice - I love how the valve appears to be floating - good DOF and lighting to get that so well.

You are doing something right if you can make a simple water faucet on a pipe look good as a stand alone. Nice composition.

Good use of negative space. I like the b&w and the shallow background. A bit too simple maybe. 6.

nice simple composition -- only suggestion is to burn the white post to make it stand out more or blur it to have it fade into the background -- as is I find it doesn't add anything and perhaps detracts a bit.

I like the simple approach. I think it fits this challenge well. I am not sure the BW was the right choice for this shot, but I think it is good. The spigot almost appears to be hanging in mid air. 7.

Almost looks like it's floating in air. I love the simplicity.

i like it...and the blurred background and nearly blended pvc pipe make the spigot almost appear floating....very cool or i am smoking too much crack these days...LOL

Great! I think it could be a little better if it was kinda clearer on the back but on the other hand it still looks excellent even with the background sort of blurry. II think it looks good either way! Great shot!

Great shot! I like the illusion this creates of the faucet floating.
