Wow! You must have done a lot of shoveling to take this picture seeing how it snowed 25 inches in DC a few days before you took this photo.

Great shot. Good perspective. It seems a bit overexposed and the aperature may be a bit small. 7

I like the perspective/reflection - it really gives a good depth to the image and adds to the impact of it.

This is a good picture, but why despair?

Cool reflections there and wonderful composition. This photo could do well in the "leading lines" challenge too.

I like the way the Mirroring adds Sublety to the main subject. But I think that the isolation of the wall would have been better without the person.

The reflection in this shot is used wonderfully. The lines created by the names, and the bottom part of the wayy, work well to lead the iewer's eyes towards the monument in the background. The colors are present, but they're muted enough to fit the challenge. Good work.

I would like this better without the people off in the distance. Good idea.

it's interesting how the wall kind of seems like it dissapears into the distance. The angle and framing/cropping is great. I like the perspective very much. Having the monument at the end is also a great touch. The wall its self seems a bit busy with all the reflection, but no way to really avoid that. Definately fits the challenge. Good luck in the challenge.

Would have been perfect for the leading line challenge, but I don't see despair in it. I see sad memory, but there is more of a desperation to despair than a memorial can evoke.
