Way to use composition to draw the eye right to the eye of your subject. I know from experience how hard it is to make these sorts of shots work this well, and I applaud you, sir.

Very very cool. I really like the tones, which I suspect you pushed (as I did with the oak leaves) and for me the result is beautiful. The textures are also wonderful, but perhaps my favorite thing about this is the way the snake curves into the frame and around that knothole which becomes a second, very large eye right in the middle of the frame. Thought: maybe a tiny crop right and bottom to further center that large green eye with its arched brow, maintaining the ratio?

Lovely colours and textures. The snake could be hard to spot in that environment. Well seen and photgraphed.
