 My grandfathers Rolleiflex he bought new sometime around the year 1954. He also had this Kodak Reference Handbook which was printed in New York in 1943, which in itself is a treasure as well as the old Rollei. I've shot numerous films with this Rolleiflex, I even took a picture of my son when he was 8 years old, and put it next to a picture my grandfather shot of my own father when he was 8 years old. I figured this might make a fun connection to the theme, and put some Godox AD100 Pro's to work with their modelling lamps, a long with some smoke from a vape which I bought exclusively to use for effects in photography and videography.

Love it. Probably my favorite in the challenge. Literally my only (teensy) nit is that I wish the light placement were just a tiny bit elevated off the table so that the surface glare beneath the camera legs was just a bit less distracting. My eye keeps wanting to go there rather than to the center of the subject, where it seems to be intended. But overall a superb and cinematically evocative composition.
