Oh, this is an incredible picture!!! I would give this an easy 10, but I wish it was a little lighter. I wish I could give it a 9+++ It's awesome!

I really like the lighting, but I don't care for the background choice (personally, I always have trouble choosing a background). Great B/W photo.

I think the lighting choice here works very well, and the B&W approach is quite appropriate. There appears to be some grain in this image, which does not detract enough to be an issue. This image could have been improved with a boost in shadow levels but given the amount of grain, I can understand your choice in leaving the exposure levels where they are. Overall well executed.

Has potential, but the lighting isn't working well, the contrast is too extreme for the subject.
