We had a wild fire break out a couple miles from our home. We were far enough away to not have to worry about evacuations, so I decided to hang out by the firefighters and take some photos for them. This was one of my favorite from the bunch.

Scary scene. The fire looks so much bigger than the firefighters.

Not something I would ever want to photograph myself, and hopefully something you wont need to experience again... one of those once in a lifetime shots (unless you're working with these firefighters). My favourite part is the refraction in the hot air above the firefighters.
