An Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) soars low across the water, clutching a freshly caught fish in its talons as droplets trail behind, a perfect image of predator and prey.
I had a different image submitted, and with 50 minutes, made a switch. Hope this doesn't come back to haunt me.
I do wonder if people will comment about being the same person who entered the Free Study with a photo of an Osprey flying with a goldfish in its talons. Now I wonder if anyone who does notice also notices that it's two different Osprey. This one is a juvenile, it has orange eyes and the other one is an adult with yellow eyes.

I almost went with a different photo with 30 minutes left. Kinda wishing I had.
