the directionality of the bird and its wake give the landscape a sense of depth. I also like the steely light of the sun

Gorgeous dawn on Ninigret Salt Pond captured with delightful soft dawn colors. The gull taking off and leaving splashes in the still mirror like water surface adds a magnificent extra dimension to this incredible image. 10
