I love a challenge that gets me thinking outside of the box.
This is Jimmy, a wild crawfish my daughter caught last year and decided to keep as a pet. We happened to have an old aquarium, and it turns out these things make pretty resilient keepers. He's grown substantially since she brought him home.
I decided to experiment with positioning a magnifying glass between a macro lens and the corner of the aquarium where he likes to "hide" beneath a rock (in plain sight to all of us outside the glass). Not sure it's anything brilliant, but to the extent that Jimmy has any personality, I think this perspective captures something of it.
