My wife rescued this hummingbird when it smashed into the window of my parent's cottage porch. It was knocked out cold. Julie picked it up and kept it warm in her hands.

It came around in a few minutes and we let her go, none the worse for wear.

Made us feel all warm inside.

This was shot at ISO 800!

That's a beautiful sheen on the top feathers, and a deadly looking beak. I can believe it was shot at ISO800, though: the grain is still visible in the solid color areas of the background. Did you run it through any noise correction, or is this straight out of the camera?
