 Way back when I was applying to dental school we had to take an entry exam called the Dental Admissions Test (DAT). A portion of the test was to carve a cylinder of chalk to a specified shape and measurements. I practiced carving chalk for a month before the exam (what a mess!). A week before the exam I found out that they had decided to replace chalk carving with a new section called spatial relationships to test your ability to perceptually understand, compare and identify angles and shapes. I haven?t carved chalk in 50 years so when I saw this challenge I was inspired to try it again. Carving the heart worked perfectly along with the message board we have. The message has been on the board for many years. I added the chalk and took the picture:)
