 It is true that crows are highly intelligent. It is not as widely known and rarely seen that they actually show emotions for each other. These 2 crows have appeared often in a tree next to my house. One preening the other. I believe they have come to know me as they appear when I put peanuts out for them frequently in the mornings. I am careful not to offend them as I have heard that they can hold a grudge for many years!

The background is a 1/2 second exposure of a pine tree which I moved the camera as I took the shot.

Congratulations! An incredible image and I appreciate the story. I have always heard crows are smart birds. After your story and the posts below, have inspired my curiosity to look up more info on crows.
