| The idea for this one is great!, but it seems to me that the use of a flash is a problem in this photo. You don't want the front bars of the cage to get too much in the way, so you'd like them to be in shadow. Perhaps working with the natural light of the scene would have been the way to go. |

| The compositon is really cluttered. It took me awhile to find the bird. Also, the bird is cut in half, not a good thing. If is was up close to her face, this would have been a good photo. |

This is a very busy picture...a tough one to shoot through the cage. It appears that you may have used the on board flash highlighting almost everything in the scene. I might have tried somehow to put a single spot light on the bird which would have lightened the childs face enough to give it a different mood, of course lower light would mean it would require a tripod of sturdy surface for a clear shot.
It might have been easier to possibly have the childs hand reaching into the cage and getting the shot from that angle through the door. |

| Nice idea. Though I don't think a cage in a shop would look like this. The bars are really distracting. They destroy the image, cut it in slices. They distract from both the bird and the girl. You might have let the girl watch the bird though a window, pressing her cheeks against it or looking with happiness at her future friend. 2. |

| That's one spoiled keet. It's a good shot from the point of view of showing the keet in the cage, and to some extent, the girl, but if the bird comes out, I think that might have been a better shot. I've had numerous keets over the years and they are great! |
