Are you kidding me? There's no pet and no person. A big minus. The composition is boring. The lighting highlights the wrong places. The puppy is out of focus. So are the statue's hands. I don't like the colours, you might have tried turning it b&w. 1.

I don't really see how this meets the challenge other than having an animal and a human represented. That aside, the green glow on the hands from the flash is a cool effect.

Is that a stuffed animal? It's out of focus, which I fear was not your intention. Statue does not qualify here as a person which is the object of the pet's affection, as the challenge rules mandate.
