| this, too, is a nice image. perfect time of day, captured well. i like everything about the composition except the cropping. even with inanimate objects, cropping off just a tip of something is just as disconcerting as cropping off a hand; visually, you have to go all the way or none--partials tend to stand out, and consequently take away from the overall strength of the image. here, i'd hate losing the more interesting sky in the upper right, but i think overall, the image would be better with about 20% off the right. |
