Should never has placed this low - like previous comments this is so much better than the 'snapshot' entries. Better luck next time.

Interesting take on this challenge. Probably one of the best entires - if for no other reason that it is not a snapshot.
However, I hate apples, so i give this a 1 for the apple.
Just Kidding! Not sure why the apple is there though..

The apple totally completes the shot. Love the chiaroscuro.

When you can't get real living models, resort to wood. (I like it in a weird sort of way.)

I have to say, this is pretty funny. What is up with the apple though?

Seems like you've added a filter to it. Looks a little fuzzy, a deeper DOF may have added a little more punch. I like the cropping, works well in black and white.

Wow. This is quite interesting. Toy figurines and their toy pets. Quite unique in this challenge. However, this photo doesn't quite fit the challenge.

Some people have not got pets to snap. This is a valid attempt (IMO)
Not sure many cows are considered pets though.

Perhaps the best shot of the competition. Way to think "outside the box"! I gave it a 1!!!!! Way to Go! Keep up the good work!

out of the box... but i like it ... I hope not to get voted to low by others... they surely do (in my case happened, so I never think out of the box :)
