I was excited when I saw this challenge because my insect macros totally fit the bill ..

I was lucky that there's been a lot of rain so there where droplets .. which are a wonderful addition to a photo of an insect ..

this is 6 photos manually focus stacked ..

the depth of field is so shallow shooting insect macros that even at f11 a distance of a millimetre or two can make a huge difference .. :)

I love the droplet under the wing .. :)

Of course - it had to be :-). Super image, and the fact that the whole width of the blade of grass is in focus I think is brilliant.
