Love how this image presents me with more than just your close up bird shot. The composition setting it within an enclosure of green leaves, branches and good background OOF area. Only bit of bother is the one twig extruding from the birdies head but one which you had no control over. Got to work with what you had.
The fact that there is eye contact between myself and our subject helps allot to further enhance the sense of being part of the private living space of this cute Finch⦠and indeed getting a sense that he is asking me what am I doing in his âprivate spaceâ With the wing not in itâs normal folded/resting posture further creates tension of being ready to fly away and not comfortable with my presence. There is âlifeâ or then dynamics in this scene with a story unfolding which one can easily fashion to your own state of mind. - A different story for different viewers. An image that can almost be used as a psychological test to gage the mind of the âPatientâ
