Yep. Taken while out shooting for the Foliage challenge (that's my tree in the background). My wife and I were working our way across the meadow and there were deer all over the place. This guy, and another buck he was traveling with, came within 15 feet or so of us. Pretty awesome experience. The two of them were amusing in that they seemed to be friends, yet they still "sparred" a little doing some head butting. Full on rutting season for sure. Happened to see this young buck here chasing a doe earlier, without success. :-)
