i was walking with Tod and he got really interested in something on the ground .. it was this goanna .. fortunately Tod was on a long lead .. otherwise the goanna could have hurt him if it felt threatened .. and tod was definitely in attack mode .. the goanna was probably about 5 or 6ft long ..
anyway .. the goanna ran up the gum tree and i was lucky to get this shot .. he was only visible for a few seconds and constantly moving up the tree .. probably didnt realize that dogs dont climb .. ;)
i usually have the macro lens on but had the 40-150mm with 2x extender on as there has been a dearth of insects .. :(
i see the triangle .. hoping the voters will too .. :)
