It is an office building in Watertown CT- (where my office is located)- it was called the Princeton Knitting Mills in the early 20th/late 19th century, and when the dye colors were changed, the river also ran that color...

Tis the season for strong blue skies and complimentary warm yellows and oranges.

Looks like someplace in the New England area. I recall similar canals and buildings when I visited Lowell, Ma for work. I always like the contrast of a cool disk sky with warm light.
