Taken at a local chemical works. A cold morning and just sufficient light available. The steam looked black against the cold sky. There was hardly any wind so the steam rose almost vertically.

Yep, there is hardly any wind here. Actually to tell the truth it looks like there isnt ANY wind.

maybe if you had shot this on a different day...
if the smoke is the subject, the foreground is too cluttered. if the plant is the subject, you have too much sky and smoke. the lighting and colors are interesting. the noise is a bit much (just a little neat image can go a long way).
