Charming in its full saturation. What kept drawing my attention is the contrast between the trees. Put me in mind of the nursery rhyme,

Jack Sprat could eat no fat.
His wife could eat no lean.
And so between them both, you see,
They licked the platter clean.

And having looked this up, here's an earlier version --

Jack will eat not fat, and Jull doth love no leane,
Yet betwixt them both they lick the dishes cleane.
