I was in the process of bumping my vote from 8 to 9 when rollover beat me so unfortunately it remained as an 8. Great find for the challenge, not such a great thing to land nearby. I hope you didn't get stung. I really like the processing, composition, textures and the narrative aspect of your photo.

The hive looked like a snake upon first viewing it on mobile so I wasn't to excited to click on the thumbnail. But great image, an honest depiction of life and death. |

are they dead bees .. or wasps .. wasps have cells similar to whats in your photo ..
but it can be catastrophe of sorts when any insect life is destroyed .. even the dreaded wasps ..
anyway .. i'll say what i thought when this first opened .. WOW .. what an amazing image .. loving all the testures and the tones ..
then i thought of dead wasps .. :(
this should do brilliantly in the challenge .. you have created a work of art from that catastrophe ..
