Image is grainy and out of focus. Looks like a picture of a TV image. I like your idea of focusing on the extinguished flame rather than a "disjointed" flame caused by the wind, however the execution is not gonna rate too high with this group...Good Luck.

A LITTLE TOO OUT OF FOCUS BUT YOU DID CAPTURE THE THEME.

Nice subject that could make a very nice shot! First thing that comes to mind is that you are out of focus pretty bad. Around here sharp focus is the number one key to a high scoring shot. Next thing is that you have your subject in the very center of the shot on a horizontally. If you moved it a tad to the right or left, you would have a much more appealing off centered subject. I would also try moving your subject up in the frame so you get the whole thing. Hope this helps.

The candle seems noisy/grainy and not in good focus. perhaps a more vertical crop would have been more appropriate.

The centered compositon and the focus issues hurt this for me. Plus, the way the smoke is rising straight up, the wind doesn't appear to be much of a factor either.

Too much post processing on this one. Gives the image a rather unappealing undetailed, plastered apearance. This image fits the challenge theme well however. It's just crippled by technical issues.

like the concept, but seems very grainy.
